The third-floor walk-up problem
Most West End student flats are in classic Glasgow tenements — beautiful sandstone buildings, wide closes, and stairs that test the legs of anyone moving boxes up or down them. We’ve been doing this for nearly fifty years, so we know the drill.
You bring your packed boxes downstairs to the close mouth. Our driver loads them into the van. That’s it — no awkward conversations with your neighbours about whether the lift counts (most tenements don’t have one anyway).
Subletting or moving between flats?
Flat hunting in Glasgow has its own rhythm — leases often run academic year only, and many students need a few weeks of storage between leaving one flat and getting the keys to the next. We handle that just as easily as full-summer storage.
